Line between overeating and binge disorder is a thin one - CNN.com
Link to Line between overeating and binge disorder is a thin one - CNN.com This is a fascinating article on binge eating, and I would encourage you to read it, as well as take the Overeaters Anonymous test that can help identify whether or not you are a binge eater (and where you can go for assistance). So much of this article rang true for me from back in the days when I used to diet--I would eat "perfectly" when I was with others, or even on my own, most of the time. But then, I would make up for it by inhaling any and every "bad" thing I ate when on my diet. I felt as if I couldn't trust myself. The next day, I would start my "diet" all over again, even more restrictive this time, and punish myself by overexercising to rid myself of all of the extra calories. It is a cycle, it is draining, and it consumes our lives. Just because we are not starving ourselves all the time or purging does not make it any less of an eating disorder. I'll be happy to hear your thoughts.

Many people see the work that I do with health and wellness, and the work that I do with organizations, to be completely separate things. In fact, they are one in the same, working together as a continuum rather than a polarity. The "bottom line" is that employees are people first. People experience hight levels of stress, lack of motivation, low self-esteem and lack of confidence, the list goes on and on. And these people bring these issues to the workplace....still don't see the connection? Employers that are on the cutting edge are beginning to see the connection, providing employees with access to health coaches, smoking cessation programs, benefits that include gym memberships, nutritional counseling, etc. Happy, healthy people means happy, healthy empoyees. And that is the bottom line! February 17 Get the diet scoop: 6 promising supplements, 6 to avoid - CNN.comThere is no magic pill....when are you guys going to believe me? Anyhow, if you insist on relying on external tools to help you in the battle of the bulge, here is a credible article that I found on CNN.com that might help you make a more informed decision about which "diet pill ingredients" to choose (good news for all of you Seattle-lites: coffee made the list!), and which to steer clear of.
